I used TINE as part of a Project-Based Learning Unit for English language learners. My students practiced and revised speeches before we recorded them and then transferred them to the TINE app. They loved using the app and I was able to meet both ELD and Common Core State Standards in a unique way.

In my collaborative US/Virginia History Class, TINE has helped enhance my instruction by making historical content interactive and has kept my students engaged in my lessons.  TINE has helped my students think and learn at a higher level and gives them a different platform to deliver content.  Most recently, I used the TINE Tag to have students assess various primary sources at different stations around my classroom.  The tags helped each student to see and hear the primary sources at their own pace ensuring a better understanding.

TINE has helped bring my bulletin boards alive! Parents and other passer-byes can now see and hear each students' thinking on how and why they composed their work the way they did. My students can never wait to be able to take their work home and save it as a wonderful 1st grade keepsake.

My third grade students wrote and published their own fictional stories. To get others interested in reading their stories, they recorded themselves giving an introduction to their books "Reading Rainbow" style, and attached it to a Tine tag on their front covers. Students from other classes used iPads to scan the tags, watch the videos, and decide which books they were interested in reading. The kids were so engaged and loved having their books come alive! The best part was when parents came for open house and could watch these videos of their kids talking about their stories. Seeing the parents' faces light up with amazement was priceless!
